For the erection of the Lochkov bridge, launching saddles were used. The preliminary capacity was set at about 100 tons. The requirement of the contractor was structural analysis verification of whether these saddles would transfer 300 tons of vertical. That capacity was tested in advance experimentally. The brick model in ANSYS was chosen for the calculation. Material characteristics of steel according to material sheets were entered into the calculation. The calculation itself was performed linearly and subsequently as material nonlinear.
