For the most part, the steel superstructure structure of the skylights S1 and S2 is visible. Trusses are made of tubes and HE-A sections, elliptical ring at the top and bottom is made of welded box section. Columns are made of tubes or welded T-sections, system tension bars are used for bracing.
In some parts the structure is quite atypical. This is due to the fact that the skylights are placed over the dilatation joint, but due to the glazing they must form one solid unit. Therefore, a part of the lower rings is supported by elastomer bearings to allow horizontal displacement.
